As a member of the National Cyber League (NCL), Indiana Tech competes against more than 250 colleges and universities nationwide, including schools such as Stanford, NYU, Indiana, Purdue, Texas, and many more. Over 3,400 students compete in the NCL nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Individual Cyber Warriors ranked in the NCL top 20 overall in the nation this fall included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chandler Dodenhoff, 11<sup>th<\/sup> overall, 10<sup>th<\/sup> within the NCL\u2019s highest-level Gold Bracket<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ethan Anderson, 12<sup>th<\/sup> overall, 11<sup>th<\/sup> within the NCL\u2019s Gold Bracket<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matt Billeck, 13<sup>th<\/sup> overall, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> within the NCL\u2019s Silver Bracket<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rob Dukarski, 16<sup>th<\/sup> overall, 14<sup>th<\/sup> within the NCL\u2019s Gold Bracket<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a team, the Cyber Warriors were 17<sup>th<\/sup> in the nation overall this fall within the NCL, and 7<sup>th<\/sup> in the NCL\u2019s Gold Bracket. This included a #1 national ranking overall and within the Gold Bracket in the areas of Scanning and Reconnaissance, and in Forensic Network Analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional individual accomplishments by Indiana Tech team members within the NCL season include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chandler Dodenhoff, #1 Overall and #1 in Gold Bracket in Forensic Network Traffic Analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ethan Anderson, #2 Overall and #2 in Gold Bracket for Password Cracking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alex Knipper, #6 in Silver Bracket in Cryptography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rob Dukarski, #4 Overall and #3 in Gold Bracket in Open Source Intelligence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rob Dukarski, #8 Overall and #8 in Gold Bracket in Wireless Access Exploitation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chandler Dodenhoff, #4 Overall and #4 in Gold Bracket in Forensic Log Analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Matt Hansen of Indiana Tech\u2019s School of Computer Sciences, and coach and advisor of the Cyber Warriors, commented, \u201cThe National Cyber League is extremely competitive, with hundreds of schools and thousands of students competing across the country. Our Cyber Warriors compete against students from Ivy League schools and large research universities. To have our team and many of our individuals in the top 20 \u2013 the top 1 percent \u2013 of the nation is a tribute to their hard work and competitiveness.
